My illustration for The Plant Cell
My experience of working with Lucile on an illustration for my article for The Plant Cell journal was a pure pleasure. She is a talented artist and has her unique style. She quickly grasped what I wished to reflect in the picture, and the final product was ready in a couple of days and did not require any corrections. Her experience in different fields of science (chemistry, physics, biology) makes her a versatile scientific illustrator. Apart from all her top-notch professional skills, Lucile is a charming person to work with. I will definitely ask her to help me with many more illustrations in the future!
Excellent depiction of Scientific research
Lucile made a few illustrations for my previous works. She was patient enough listening what I exactly wanted in the scientific art and she proposed better ideas. She cared for scientific details and the resulting images were excellent. The watercolor version images were quite good. I totally recommend her for scientific drawings.

I contacted Lucile Michels to design a set of schematic figures for a scientific poster.
From the get go the communication was excellent; After just one short consult on the technical details of the figures, I received an almost perfect draft, which required only minor adjustments afterwards.
Lucile Michels has a great mix of creativity and a strong scientific background. Because of this, the resulting figures were both attractive to look at and technically correct. These figures made a great contribution to the poster.
